If you aren’t selling products online, then you need to find content to write about on your website. This can be about anything you want, but try and make it something you’re interested in, otherwise you’ll get bored very fast. Choose topics like celebrities, movies, games, or anything else people like reading about.
Once you have your topic, start writing as many articles or content as you can about that specific topic. You will then need to post this content on your site or blog so that readers can find it.
Once you have a good amount of content on your site, submit your link to directories and search engines so that people will be able to find it. Join affiliate groups and networks and try to get them to link to your site. Use social networking tools like Twitter to help get your name out there.This will get you the backlinks that you need in order to rank higher in search engines like Google or Yahoo. The more you market your content, the more people will read it.
Once you start driving a fair amount of traffic to your site daily, you can start advertising on your site to make money. Other sites will in pay you have a link to their site put on yours. And if your selling products on your site, your sales will increase as more people hear about your site.
Remember that this will take time and will not happen overnight. If you write good content though and market it well enough, you will be on your way to making money online in no time.
