The Right Way To Approach Your Warm Market

When looking to expand your network marketing business there is a right way to approach your warm market.

Whether this is your first networking marketing business or your fifth, you are no doubt excited about it and will want to share it with most everyone you know. Don’t do it. At least initially.

Your warm market is made up of people you already know. Family members. Friends and acquaintances. And people you see frequently but perhaps have had few conversations with.

These are all people that might make it to the list of those to contact. The problem with this is they are probably not as excited about your opportunity as you are. Let me rephrase that: They ARE’NT as excited about it as you are. Therefore it’s best to hold off from contacting them too soon.

They will typically be the toughest group to approach. In fact if you’ve approached any of them before they will begin to avoid you.

Here’s the right way to approach your warm market. If there is that rare chance that someone in this group is always interested in hearing about business opps by all means discuss it with them.

Since that’s not usually the case then you’re best to get settled into the business and become as much of an expert as possible before ever mentioning it. It’s not that you’re ashamed but that you want to be able to present your business very professionally when the time comes. It’s called attraction marketing.

That “time” is when they begin to ask you what you’re doing. This will happen when they begin to see signs that you are up to something good. Perhaps you are already achieving levels of noticeable success. Or you’re just busier now.

Your answer will be one of frankness and honesty. But not an answer that sets you up to sell them. Something like this: “I recently started a network marketing business and fortunately it’s keeping me pretty busy.”

The conversation from there depends on any follow up questions you get. Each time respond with short answers. These are designed to build curiosity. Again, you’re not trying to sell them on anything but are just giving them information they asked for.

This is also a good strategy when contacting someone you haven’t talked to for awhile. As the conversation turns to what each of you are now doing you just briefly mention your business. If more questions ensue then you continue to answer them. Be honest and genuine but leave the sales pitch out of the conversation.

Your entire goal with this approach is to not only build curiosity about what you’re doing but to also gain respect for how you’re doing it. Once they see your commitment and effort given to the business it can be a motivational factor for them to contact you. http://stevelauri.com/
