Different Ways To Increase Backlinks
If you are a webmaster who is interested in learning how to make money online then backlinks will quickly become your best friend. They are one of the deciding factors of where your website will be placed within the SERPs. Remember there are over a trillion unique URLs which means no matter which niche you select there will be competition. Usually websites which will be fighting over the exact same keywords that you are fighting over and the only way to tell websites optimized for the same keywords apart is the number and quality of backlinks they have pointing towards them.
Now before we get into how to build backlinks it is first important to discuss the most important aspect when acquiring links. If you create great content that when visited by other webmasters and bloggers excites them they will link to it from their web presence. This is called link bait and is how superstars such as twitter, facebook, ebay, and other major websites gained such success. They offered content that was so great that hundreds of thousands of websites linked to them. Now you do not need this many links to do well just a couple thousand websites linking to your content is enough to push it from the bottom to the top of the SERPs (search engine ranking pages).
Link bait is an amazing tool and should be your main focus when trying to acquire links, but you will need to get the webmasters to your website and start the link building process by yourself. To do this there are many great free resources out on the web that give links freely. One of my favorite ways to build links is using link directories. The reason I like directories is for minimal work you gain a free one way backlink. These backlinks in most cases are permanent and as the directory grows they will become worth more and more. Another place where I enjoy building links is article directories. Now article directories will give you a link within the resource link the problem I find is the work required writing the articles is somewhat a pain. I like getting a backlink with little work, but article writing allows you to bring in another aspect of internet marketing which is branding. When you write an article and get it published within the directory when a visitor reads that article it is the same as an online introduction. They can see what you are about and really make a decision right then and there if you and your web presences will fit their needs. If you think about branding when writing your articles then you will have a chance to presale to the customer. Get them excited about your presence so when they get there they can’t wait to buy.
