How To Effectively Do Long Tail Keyword Research Effectively

Keyword research is one of the most important things you can do when you have an Internet business. The keywords you use on your site and to promote your business are the best ways people and search engines find your site. This is why knowing how to effectively do longtail keyword research is so critical.

It is not difficult to do this research for long tail keywords, but it will take time and effort from you. The more of these keywords you can find the better because this keywords are effective due to being more targeted and because there is not as much competition for them.

To help you get started on your effective research, here are some important steps that you need to take to find as many effective long tailed keywords as possible.

1. The first step is to find one or more good keyword tools to use. If you can afford to purchase one, then that is the best type to use. If it is not in your budget there are excellent free ones you can use for effective keyword research. At least take time to find one or two if you can. This will help provide more keywords for your business.

2. Now you need to create a list of keywords and start studying them. If you are using a paid keyword research tool, then you will more than likely be able to get important information about the competition for the keyword, the number of times it is being searched for and other important things.

For anyone that is using a free tool, you will learn a little about the competition and how many times it is being used, but usually only for a small amount of keywords. Analyzing the competition does take longer when using free tools, but it is definitely worth the time spent.

3. Use Google any other major search engines to put in the keyword in parentheses. This will tell you the actual number of sites there are for that particular keyword.

Create a list of long tail keywords you feel you have a chance of ranking on the search engines for. Then begin to target those in as many wasy as you can.

In order to do effective longtail keyword research these are the most imperative steps to take. If you are serious about your online success you certainly need to be using these keywords. Now that you know how to effectively search for them, all that is left for you to get started finding them and then using them for your business.

How to Choose Money Keywords & Cash In with Jon Leger’s 3WayLinks

Hi everyone,

I’m revealing my secret strategy for you to unleash the full potential of Jonathan Leger’s 3WayLinks Google ranking system.

It’s the exactly what I learn from some super affiliates who use this secret tactic to rake in tens of thousand cash by promoting as an affiliate.

Did you know that choosing your keywords is the MOST important part of the whole process? 99% of the people who fail with 3WayLinks .net are making this step wrong.

Most people just chase to rank those popular keywords and build sites with those search terms. But soon they found these keywords are very hard to get ranked. Even if they’re getting traffic, they get no sales in this kind of search traffic. Big fail. And they complain this system is not working.

And what I advise is to aim to rank the keywords that MAKE MONEY.

When you’re building a site to promote affiliate products, the 5 keywords strings you MUST target are: the product name, product name review, buy product name, purchase product name, and product name bonus.

Why?

Because people searching on these words are interested in the product. They want to read positive reviews to convince them to buy and they are already ready to buy!

The keywords I mention are money keywords that guarantee to make sales and also easy to rank in the search engines.

You may not expect to get huge traffic but the conversions will be just fantastic.

Even though you get less traffic, you end up making more money.

You can easily leave your competitors in the dust with 3WayLinks because you get much less competition with these keywords. 250 links from 3WL are absolutely enough.

And good news is now Google’s External Keyword Tool reports the exact search volume (maybe the death of all major keyword tools?)

That means now it’s easy to decide which keywords are worth to rank, since 3WL just allows you to choose 3 keywords of your choice to rank in.

You just need to choose to rank the product related keywords which have healthy search volumes.

Jon also includes a free report on keyword selection in the 3WL member area, which will help you how to find low to mid-competition keywords to aim for. Be sure to read it carefully.

Conclusion: 3WayLinks is an awesome tool for getting hands-off Google rankings for mini-sites, affiliate review sites and small content sites. So use it to get traffic for your mini-sites while eventually serving link juice and traffic for your authority sites.

Keyword Research – Do Not Depend On Your Assumptions Alone

Proper and extensive keyword research is the first and most crucial step towards building a search engine friendly website. However, a lot of new and tuned webmasters tend to depend on their own assumptions to determine related keywords. Perhaps they forget that they are not the intended buyers.

Where is the loophole?

The problem is there in the core keyword research process. And when you are using a free keyword research tool, it does not allow you enough options to fine tune your search. The results provided by these tools mostly depend on your own assumptions.

An example may demonstrate the process in a better way.

Say, you are searching keywords for a website that sells MP3 music players. Inevitably, your research will start from ‘MP3 music players’ which will provide you some keywords like:

100% free music downloads for mp3 players, concepts music express mp3 players, download music video for mp3 players, free downloadable music for mp3 players, free music download for mp3 players, free music downloads for mp3 players, free music for mp3 players, free music uploads to mp3 players, how to put music on mp3 players, mp3 music players, music downloads for mp3 players, music for mp3 players, music mp3 players, music sources for mp3 players, nextar mp3 players downloads music etc.

In the next step, you will exclude some keywords from this list and continue the same process.

If you take a closer look, you will see that the result (related keywords) they are providing you depended on three words (MP3, music and players) that you entered together in the query box.

But are people really using ‘MP3 music players’ to buy what you are offering?

Practically you can never be so sure about it.

Why?

If you take a look at Vertical Leap’s SEO Keyword game, or check out Googles Keyword Search tool and use exact settings, your idea will definitely change. They have developed this to research and understand the complex part that individual intent plays while searching for something.

Here, they show a picture and ask the visitor to enter the terms they would use to find it on the web. The result is simply mind-blowing and shows that there are at least 21 different permutations that could be used to identify that image.

For example for a ‘MP3 Player’ people used the following terms – mp3 player, usb, mp3, flash drive, usb key, usb mp3, usb mp3 player, flash memory, generic mp3 player, budget mp3 player, movil, memory stick, memorypen, USB memory mp3, pixel, mp3 plater, mp3 playetr, pen drive, usb memory stick, usb memory stick mp3 player, usb stick.

Do you have these terms in your keyword list?

What is the solution?

If you need to work on these free tools, start with more generic keywords like ‘mp3’ or ‘player’ or ‘music player’ and than move forward while excluding irrelevant or less popular keywords. Perhaps this process will take you closer to the best set of keywords.

The AdWords Keyword Tool: Why and How it Can Optimize Your Website and Create More Traffic

The Google Adwords keyword tool is used by many online business owners to design their marketing campaigns. This is because finding the right keywords is essential to an effective marketing strategy.

So how exactly can you use the Google AdWords keyword tool to increase more site visits?

Help you can Get from AdWords:

Google AdWords can help you in different ways when it comes to creating content for you website or optimizing it. The main thing that you can do with the Google AdWords keyword tool is that you can choose the very best keywords and phrases and this is essential in your marketing campaign.

Each keyword should be transformed into content that is informative. This can be a blog, an article or any website copy. Since each keyword needs copy, if you chose a poor keyword, you will be exerting effort over a fruitless endeavor. That is why you need to know which keywords on which to base your website content.

How to use the AdWords keyword tool:

Google AdWords keywords tool will provide you with information that should be studied so you can use that knowledge to build an online marketing plan.

The AdWords keyword tool will help you find keywords that will give you the most hits. What you need to do first is to type the main theme of your topic into the blank field. Then click the “Get keyword ideas” button to generate related keywords that have been used in the previous months. This information is stored in their database.

Another convenient aspect to the keywords list is that each column tells you virtually everything you need to know about that specific word or phrase. You can see the number of times they have been searched for in recent months and how much advertiser competition a keyword has; crucial in deciding which ones to focus on.

Generally, the keywords that have the lowest competition and the highest search volume are the most qualified for optimization, and should be your first choice.

How to use AdWords for existing web site content:

You can also use the data from the Google AdWords keyword tool to improve existing website content.

For example, you can use the information from the Google AdWords to see which keywords you should use in improving your website content. However, you also need to be discriminating when you’re using these words and phrases. Don’t overuse the keywords and let them blend into your copy.

Overloading copy with the same phrases will cause it to sound unnatural. As a result, people will not want to read it, and the search engines will not want to include it. Keeping your website content flowing, informative, and at a high quality level will yield a better ranking and more traffic.

15 Keyword Marketing Tactics That Work

“Men of few words are the best men.” Those words are as true today as they were when Shakespeare wrote them. This less is more approach also applies to search engine strategies. The old way of doing thing with keyword seo stuffing simply doesn’t work with today’s search engines, however less isn’t necessarily better either; as an internet marketer you need to develop cohesive and relevant keyword marketing strategies that work with today’s ever changing search algorithms.

As internet marketing strategy professionals we are continuously overwhelmed flooded with various keyword marketing strategies. In this post I have decided to focus on 15 keyword seo strategies that will get results if employed properly.

1. Remember Last Second Keywords – Keywords that focus on timing such as such as next day delivery or last minute valentines day flowers are often underutilized and have low competition. Of course you need to be able to change content readily to accomplish this type of traffic generation.

2. Focus on Brand Specific Keyword Optimization – Depending on your product, using brand-specific keywords might be a better option to receive qualified traffic even if you’re using your competitors brand, ride along traffic is not spoken about much but often practiced.

3. Attract Qualified Customers – If you are in a specific niche industry such as organic foods; make sure not to entirely focus your internet marketing strategy on generalized food products. The same thing would apply if your company is a consulting firm specializing in remote IT Support. Focus your keyword optimization strategy on remote IT or SaaS delivery type keywords more so than IT keywords.

4. Use Use Relevant Keywords in the Anchor Text Links – Keywords in backlinks are more relevant than the meta tag because the link will generally point to a highly significant page.

5. Create a Keyword Seo List Before Writing – It is far easier to research and write keywords into the copy than to write the copy and try to fit in the keywords. Keyword marketing shouldn’t be a challenge!

6. Spread Your Keywords Around – Make the extra effort to add high ranking keywords into your page titles, URL’s, logos/pictures, anchor text links and value propositions.

7. Use Bold, Italics and Underline During Keyword Optimization – The use of bold, italics and to a lesser extent underline can increase the importance of your keywords.

Search engines see bold and italic words as being more important and relevant to the copy.

8. Take Advantage of Singular and Plural Words – Typically the singular use of a word will have more searches per month than the plural of a word. However, numerous internet marketing strategy studies have shown that more than 5 times the number of buyers actually use the plural vs. the singular case. Those doing research typically use the singular use of a word. It is good idea to have both uses of a keyword in your web pages.

9. Improve Page Rank With Internal Links – If a certain webpage in your website needs a boost simply link it using internal links. Relevant, keyword rich internal links can boost organic rankings for that page over time.

10. Acquire Additional Listings on Google – For many low ranking keywords you can get a second Google listing indented below the first. Typically, all you need to do is write an article or FAQ page then link it to the main page.

11. Sprinkle Long Tail Question Keywords Into Your Content – Many people ask questions in search engines. Simply add a few who, what, where, when, why or how questions pertaining to your products. For example how long does aspirin last would be a unique keyword if you manufactured aspirin or wrote a blog about the positive affects of aspirin.

12. List Your Part or Model Number – Technical buyers as well as average consumers will look for a specific model or product. If the model number has hyphens or periods write it multiple ways i.e. 73-AE90 could also be written 73AE90.

13. Keep Up With Trends – Sites like Yahoo Buzz, Google Trends, eBay Pulse and Trendwatching.com will actually allow you to see what keyword marketing trends are popular right now. Google News also allows you to subscribe to a news feed based upon keywords you choose.

14. View The Competiton – Take a look at the number one ranked competitor on Google and what keyword marketing strategy they are using. To view a websites keyword seo strategy simply go to VIEW in the main toolbar in internet explorer, then select SOURCE. It will bring up the source code of the competitor. Look for the term META KEYWORDS for the list of keywords the site is using.

15. Use Keyword SEO Tools – There are many keyword tools out there; Wordtracker and Google Keywords are two of the top keyword seo tools. You can also buy various software packages that list data on keywords.

There are thousands of different keyword optimization strategies out there but with some diligence and implementation, each of these recommendations can help you gain traction with your search engine marketing. The industry changes almost daily; an internet marketing strategy that worked a year ago might not work today because search engines are constantly changing their algorithms. If you are truly serious about keyword optimization and ultimately growing a business, take the time to learn the little nuances and never stop reading what’s new.

Keyword Generator: How a Keyword Generator Works to Help Market Your Website Successfully

Using a keyword generator helps you avoid the intimidation of trying to choose the best keywords for your marketing campaign. With so many options and different ways to go, how do you know which words will work to optimize the content of your site? How do you know which words to stay away from?

Choosing Keywords From the Generator

When you know the qualities that keywords should have to give you a higher page ranking, you will have an easier time looking for the right ones. You need to take into account the most relevant keywords that you can find. The keyword generator will aid you in knowing which keywords are the most useful.

Not only does the generator provide you with the keywords that are of the same theme as your website, but it also gives more information for you to find out which ones are most effective. This will let you have more educated decisions on which keywords to use.

You will be amazed at how much quicker the process is when you know things like the amount of competition for a given word, or the number of times it has been searched for. That information becomes even more important when you are designing a pay-per-click advertising plan for your website. It will also save you money as well as time, which is an even better thing.

The keyword generator also suggests various combinations of keywords that may be relevant to your website theme. And these keywords are actual words that were searched for so you’ll be basing your keywords on facts.

Choice of Keywords

Combining those ideas with the statistics mentioned earlier is a powerful way to focus on which words are the best fit for your specific needs. Also, keep in mind that you don’t necessarily want to have ones that are competing with a lot of other websites. It is wise to aim for the middle in picking words that are low in competition and high in search volume.

Why Google AdWords

You might be wondering why Google AdWords is the best keyword generator around. That’s because Google frequently updates their database and have been proven to be reliable. The keyword generator it provides you with the right support to find the most effective keywords. Using keyword generators will change the way you do online marketing and so much more.

Keyword Research Services

Keyword research services were my number one choice to do the selection process of keywords related to my business. However, it was too expensive. Many business owners like you and I don’t have any other choice. Most of us don’t have the required skills or tools… until now.

I used many keyword research services to increase my sales until I realized I was barely covering the research fees with my profits. That was a sad story I didn’t want in my business. So, I was avoiding working for somebody to give my money away to somebody else. That was not the way to go, at least for my business.

I mean, keyword research services were doing a great job identifying what my target customers were searching for. But also they were taking a big slice of my profits. I kept searching for more choices and after many trials and errors a good friend of mine shared a great keyword research tool that did the exact same work for me without having to pay the high price.

For keyword analysis, keyword research services where the way to go. I didn’t have the knowledge or the time to decipher how customers searched for my products and services. Guess what? You don’t have to be an expert when using this tool and you will still get highly relevant keywords that will convert into targeted traffic that will make you money.

The keyword research services used to match keyword choices with terms my customers were using on search engines. They were good at that, no offense, but they were also good at sucking my profits. Now you can get the same relevant keywords by using this tool and you can also keep the profits for yourself.

Don’t waste money on keyword research services anymore. This new tool will do the heavy lifting for you. After that, you just need to get some good content with the suggested words to effectively promoting your products and services and drive traffic to your site. Best of all, you still can keep the profits.

You can use keyword research services to get the solution to your keyword problems. That’s the right path if you like to pay for high ticket services. You might ended up in their marking funnel and make you feel you cannot live without their services so that you keep asking for more. After that, you’re also getting consulting, training, and private coaching. Not sure if you will be able to cover all this expenses with the profits from your business.

I forgot about keyword research services after I found this great tool. I can still get relevant keywords with low competition generating a decent amount of traffic. It looked like a tough task for me but this tool does it all for me in just a few minutes. You can also get extremely highly targeted traffic for almost nothing when I used to pay hundreds of dollars for it.

The Keyword Research Services replacement is what you need if your current traffic is not generating the income that you want. Find out how to save thousands of dollars on Keyword Research Services.

SEO and Keyword Density

People involved with SEO always end up debating keyword density. People have some strong opinions about this and its involvement with your rankings in the search engines. However, some serious questions need to be answered. Does it really exist? Does keyword density improve your rankings and if so, what’s the proper density that you should be going after?

Keyword density is of course the percentage that a keyword or key phrase shows up in the content of your website. If the word “cars” shows up 10 times in a 200 word article, then the density for that word is 5%. Additionally, if the words “red cars” show up 5 times, you still have a 5% density because the phrase still takes up 10 words out of 200 words.

Many people have the belief that a specific keyword density is the solution to success with SEO. However, there is no consistency in what people believe. Some people seem to think that extremely high keyword usage, up to 10% is acceptable and effective. Other people feel that smaller 4% or 5% keyword density is the ideal figure. So what is it really, and how can your website use keyword density to improve on its success?

However, these days we know that for SEO there is not a specific, targeted keyword percentage that is going to improve your rankings. There is no exact science, and it’s unwise to try to achieve a specific keyword density just because you think it will improve your rankings.

Instead, what you should try to do is to include your keywords naturally throughout your content. You can certainly try hard to ensure you include them and include them in the right places, and you can even set basic guidelines to help you achieve this. For example, you can try to use a keyword once per every paragraph or two instead of focusing on a rigid percentage for a keyword density.

More important is to ensure that you use the words you are targeting for SEO, and to make sure that you do not overuse them. It’s entirely way too easy to overdo yourself while pursuing a keyword density. If you think you have used a phrase too much, then you probably have. Your visitors will be turned off, and you can even get punished in the rankings of the search engines as a result.

Another important thing that you’ll want to remember is that besides your content, other areas of your website can be affecting the level of keyword density that you have. For example, the terms used in the links within your menus show up in the search engines, as does the description you enter in your META tags and the title you have at the top of the browser.

Keyword density has proven to be more fiction than fact. Yes, you want to include your keywords and include them often enough so that you get “credit” for them. But there is no such thing as a perfect keyword density for SEO, and you shouldn’t force keywords in to try to meet any precise figure.
