Earn Money With Adsense And A Website
Setting up your site is quite easy. There are free tools and free or paid hosting options. But, the main thing to consider is the subject of your website.
There are advantages and disadvantages all about. A few topics are earning masses more per click and have readers that are more prone to clicking on the adverts than other subjects. However, if your specialism is in one of these lower value sites, you may be able to produce plenty more writing than if you aimed for a higher value site.
This means that your first decision is what will you website around? Find something that you might write around ample – you will be posting a couple of times per week – but out of the selection of choices you come up with, work out which is budding to be worth the most.
Now, create your weblog. Choose a good looking theme and sign up to Adsense and drop in some adverts. Ample of people recommend merely using 2 advert positions, which prevents the blog looking too much like a commercial. But put the adverts in places where your readers will notice them. It looks like Google is using traffic statistics in its search engine ranking algorithm so that it sends traffic to merely those sites that humans are interested in. So, if you follow the traditional built for Adsense route of get the person onto your site and then straight away clicking on a PPC advert, it is potential that Google will notice and then stop sending you so many traffic.

Could You Use A Banner Advertisement On Your Weblog?
Might you use a banner advertisement on your blog to generate an income? By that we mean can you use one to increase your income? There’s a big difference between something that adds to the total revenue you make and something that makes an revenue itself, but costs you more visitors and income from elsewhere.
Free sites
So, can you add a banner advertisement to your site? Of course you could, usually! If you are some free services, for example WordPress.com (but not the WordPress.org that you host for yourself) then such forms of advertising are banned, so the answer is “No” and the debate ends here!
Other sites
But for other systems you are allowed to add banners, either in the sidebar, the footer or within the actual post. However, do you really want to?
At first the answer must be “Yes!” and there is a chance of earning an income, whether from an advertiser’s payments of from affiliate payments. But now look deeper into this and whether they are actually effective. That is, whether you are actually making a profit. If you use that space for a banner advert, what are the effects?
Too much is never good!
Well for a start, too much advertising about the page is going to put people off reading your site. It makes the blog look like you are merely interested in your readers for what they might do for you – earn you money. This makes them less prospective to subscribe to your RSS feeds and newsletters and less possible to trust your writing and come back.
Using valuable space.
It is also taking up valuable space. To get the best from a banner advertisement you want it high up on the side bar – so that stacks of people can see it and click on it. But this will mean that you have to shove the vital pieces of navigation further down the page. These are the navigation elements that will be used by readers to come back again or find more to read now, let’s say most popular posts lists,RSS feeds , ebooks as incentives to subscribe and so on. By having the banner advertisement above these elements, your readers are prospective to explore your website less now and in the future.
Reducing the value of other advertising
Lastly, if you are wanting to take part in sponsored posting then the value of these is reduced because of the other advertising on the page. An advertiser is less possible to pay you for an advertisement if you are also showing competing adverts on the same page.
The answer?
For my own blogs, I prefer to only include any banner advertisements where they are relevant in key posts. For an affiliate product, if I want web site wide coverage I will create a key post, link to that from the navigation and put the banner link into the post itself.
But yes, you might quite easily use a banner advertisement on your site, at potentially the price of reducing your readership and advertising from other sources. It is up to you what works best.
