MLM Brutally Honest Review An Absolute Must Read!
MLM Marketing is a marketing structure used by some companies. The MLM structure is designed to create a marketing and sales force by paying promoters for both the sales of the companies products they make and for any new distributors they bring into the company as well.
Anyone who joins and promotes the companies products are known as distributors. They do not earn a salary but instead they are awarded a commission dependant on how many sales they make themselves and the sales their downline make. This process is similar to a franchise.
A downline is the people that have paid you to join the MLM business and you will get a percentage of their sales. So in essence you pay to join into the business and then you will earn for every person you bring into the business and any future sales they make.
Here are some advantages of MLM’s: Quick and easy to get set up, Can start straight away, If you join when the MLM business is relatively new you can stand to build a large down line and therefore earn a lot of money.
However there are Disadvantages of MLM’s: The methods are now becoming dated; this is because most MLM models encourage you to sell to your friends and family. They also involve cold calling which is where you ring up people and tell them about your product or from a list of people you can buy that have bought similar products in the past or have been used by other people in the MLM. If you join near the bottom of the line you don’t stand to make much money as the market has already been saturated by the people in your upline People with more advanced online and offline marketing techniques will do better than you Most MLM’s are pyramid schemes (which are illegal) in disguise
So overall I think MLM’s are outdated as the marketing techniques they teach are no longer effective. Nearly every MLM will not provide you with the real training you need on Internet Marketing if you are to make money online.
Now there of course there are people making money from MLM’s and I’m not by any means trying to say they cannot make you money, but there is a very high failure rate as there’s a lack of training and support!
One of the main reasons people join an MLM is because of the lifestyle that is portrayed however at the beginning you will spend most of your time calling people on the phone and more often than not getting negative responses. This doesn’t sound like fun to me!
However if you have got your mind set on joining an MLM make sure you join near the top of a line and that there will be the support and training you require!

List Building – Absolutely Need To Know Tips
“The money is in the list”, this is often heard in the Internet Marketing Indsutry but a lot of people do not know exactly what list building is and how important it is to your home/online business.
A list is a collection of people and their details (normally email addresses and first name) who are interested in your product/home business opportunity. These people have given you their details in order for something; usually a free report or further information. An important thing to consider with list building is that you want a targeted list; it is no use in having a list of 100,000 people that aren’t likely to be interested in your product; a list of 1,000 targeted people is a lot more beneficial.
You want to make sure people that are visiting your website know exactly what your product/business opportunity is about, you do this first of all by including keywords about your product/niche in your domain name. For example I am involved with Internet Marketing so my domain name includes the keyword “marketing” and then in the brief description of my site I let everybody know that I am an Internet Marketing Mentor. It is no use in having a domain name that does not have any keywords, this is because you will not be getting targeted traffic which will result in a poor list.
After you have made it clear what product you are promoting/selling with a keword loaded domain name make sure you give detail on exactly what niche within your industry you are involved with. This is done by creating a squeeze page; this is where you give the viewer an offer to receive something beneficial relating to your niche (eg free internet marketing report) in return for their details (email address and first name are the best; anymore and the viewer might be reluctant to part with that information).
You want to make it clear exactly what service/product you are offering so include bullet points to make it stand out and I recommend having a video on your squeeze page where you describe the benefits of what the viewer will receive if they opt in and some information on exactly what your product/business opportunity is. Not only will this bring you targeted traffic but by shooting a video people will know you are not some robot spammer and be more likely to opt in.
Now you have a good squeeze page and domain name you need to drive targeted traffic to your squeeze page. There are many marketing methods on how to do this, for this article I am going to briefly talk about free marketing techniques as they are of most benefit to Internet Marketing newbies for the obvious reason they are free 
.
In my opinion I’d start with social networking, this is because you can brand yourself a leader within your Industry. The two social networking sites I recommend are Facebook and Twitter as they are the most widely used; after you have set up an account you want to look for targeted people to add as social networking friends.
I’m involved within the Internet Marketing Industry this is commonly popular with people who leave their corporate job to become an Internet Marketer or people who want to better their lifestyle; recently I have started adding people in real estate jobs as the economic recession has hit that Industry hard and more people are looking for an alternative way to make money and escape their Real Estate jobs.
To do this I simply search “real estate” or “estate agents” on Facebook and Twitter, this brings me a list of estate agents, I then add them as a friend on Facebook or follow them on Twitter. On your social networking account you want to have a brief description about your product/business opportunity and a little bit about yourself, this way a person can decide if they want to hear more from you or not. The ones who do follow you will be likely to be interested in your product. Now you want to have links to your squeeze page on your social networking sites, this makes it easier for you to convert targeted traffic into a valuable list. I recommend including them on your profile and status updates.
Now you should get the picture of how List Building works; mainly let people know exactly what niche you’re involved with to filter out the people who will be interested in your product and get rid of the people that will not. Then get their details (through a squeeze page) and market to them whilst building a relationsship. Building relationships with people will result in profitable list building.
