Article Marketing During Search Engine Optimization

Search engine optimization is one of the most difficult parts of running an online business. If you are successful then getting traffic to your website is not an issue. The problem is ranking well in Google is extremely difficult especially for keywords that have massive amounts of traffic. When learning search engine optimization you will need to know about on site SEO and off site SEO. Off site SEO is link building with keywords between the anchor tags. One of the best places you can build keyword optimized links is article directories. To understand the true value of article directories it is important to understand their place in internet marketing. Article marketing has an instant pay off as well as a residual pay off. When you submit content to an article directory and it is published you will begin receiving website traffic directly from the article directory. You will also receive backlinks from the article directory directly.

When attempting to market articles you will need to get the articles published. This means you need to write well enough to pass the review. This is when an editor reads you article and determines if the quality is up to the article directory standards. You will find tough reviewers when submitting to the top article directories such as ezinearticles.com and buzzle.com. If you are having trouble getting articles published on these directories you may want to consider submitting to newer article directories. These directories are actually in need of content so they are much more lenient when reviewing articles. The only problem with submitting to these article directories is the chance of gaining high quality backlinks or getting your article republished is much less likely compared with the top article directories.

To see the full help that article directories and article marketing can provide to your search engine optimization campaign you must learn some HTML. A link to your website or blog is helpful, but will not help you rank for a certain keyword or term unless you place that term between the anchor tags. If you do not know how to do this and would like to learn visit w3schools.com and take the link tutorial. Another useful SEO trick with article marketing is making sure that you are writing on topic with your website. If your website is about online business then you need to focus your article writing efforts on online business topics. You can spread out the topics to things such as internet marketing, affiliate marketing, and making money online, but you do not want to go to far off and write on topics that have nothing to do with online business at all. The final trick to article marketing if you want to become a professional it is mandatory you get all the practice you possibly can.

Teach Yourself How To Do Search Engine Marketing.

The value of seo learn how to make it work.

The value of seo is even greater now than ever before because the volume of competition is getting higher all the time and companies want the best search engine optimisation to perform at a decent level and get a lot of targeted traffic.

The growth of the Internet does not seem to be slowing down, but rather accelerating at a rapid pace with millions more people having Internet access every year. Therefore the market is ever expanding too and the search volumes are increasing at the same rate.

Small businesses will need to get smart and find out how to seo a website or their overheads will rise if when they have to employ a whizz-kid seo officer.
If businesses are coveting all that extra money flying around they had better start learning a few tricks to stay ahead. Keyword research is critical and backlinks using those keywords are even more important.

The number one seo description for a company to know about is that they must learn first, all it takes toknow how to find the keywords and then how to choose which ones to go for. If they get it right it means success, if however they fail to do the proper groundwork initially then the chances are that the marketing will not succeed and they will have to start all over again.

The biggest mistake often made by businesses is that they believe that to get more revenues they must optimise for the most popular keyword they can find. For example, if a website is trading in power tools, the target might then be tools.
That of course is the greatest mistake. It would be time consuming, extremely costly and no guarantee of a good conversion rate.

The idea that has to be adjusted to is the one of chasing the tail. The long tail that encompasses more specific searches because those are what people will use when they are ready to buy and not just browse! For instance a website specialising in power tools might be better advised to target the keyword ‘discounts on bosch lawnmowers’

From the uninitiated mans point of view it must be difficult to accept that targeting a keyword that gets 9000 searches per month instead of 200,000 searches is the best proposal. Nevertheless, that is what should be incorporated into the marketing campaign for small businesses that do not have the budget to reach for the stars.

How To Optimize A Website Fast

Webmasters around the world attempt to optimize their websites and blogs to rank well in the major search engines. When webmasters reach the top of Google it is much easier to earn money online if that is their goal. One problem that these webmasters and bloggers usually face is in the beginning they have no idea what they are doing which means their first attempt will be flawed. If a webmaster of blogger creates a website or blog and knows exactly the Google goals of their website it will be possible to get it right within the first attempt which will save hundreds of hours down the road. You must know from the very beginning exactly what keywords you are going for and the correct way to place them on your website so it looks natural.

Before creating your website or blog it is important to at least read one tutorial on SEO. I go over SEO frequently at my make money blog, but also highly recommend the SEO tutorial over at webconfs.com. Web Confs give a great tutorial covering all the SEO basics that you should be aware of before you begin to optimize a website or blog. Take time to read the complete tutorial making sure to pay attention to keywords and anchor text backlinks. These will be the determining factor when it comes to how much traffic you get and the amount of money you will be able to make. Another source of information which is a bit more interactive meaning you can ask questions and interact with other members is the seo forum at v7n.com/forums/. This is where I first learned SEO and where I go whenever I have a question about any advanced questions when it comes to optimization.

Even though there are no quick ways to rank in Google if you optimize your website correctly when you create it there will be no need to go back and reword areas to properly optimize for keywords. This is where the time will be saved when it comes to your SEO. The first thing you should do is choose your words that you would like to rank well for. When choosing words it is important to pick words that are closely related to your website and content, but should also have a proper amount of traffic coming to them. Personally I don’t optimize for a word unless it has at the very least one thousand people searching for it monthly and prefer to optimize for keywords that have over fifty thousand searches monthly. To find out how many monthly searches any given keyword or term has go to adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal and enter the term into the tool.

Once you start building traffic and would like to monetize check out this get paid to read emails website.

How To Increase Page Rank

Webmasters are all consumed with the little green bar which represents page rank. Before you can worry about how much page rank you have the first thing you need will be page rank checkers for the browsers you use. Internet explorer you can easily add a page rank check by downloading the Google toolbar. On firefox you can download an add on and Google chrome you will need to install an extension. If you would prefer not to use these for your page rank checking needs then you can go to Google and search for a page rank checker there are quite a few to choose from. Now when you have the tools to accurately assess the amount of page rank of your website you will need to understand how to increase your page rank. When you first build a website or blog it will have a page rank of N/A which means Google has no page rank for your website or blog.

Now page rank is not an extremely important factor when it comes to internet marketing, but will give you some insight on how popular Google sees your web presence. If you plan on being able to earn money online by selling ad space you will need a high page rank and traffic coming to your site. The only way to increase your page rank is by building links towards your website. The only thing that page rank represents is the amount and authority of links coming towards your website. The more links you have and the higher quality links they are the more your page rank goes up.

One of the main problems with using page rank checkers both on your web browser and on 3rd party websites is they show your page rank from one point of time. Page rank is continuously updated with every single link that you build. Google is constantly searching the web nonstop looking for new links and content. When you build links on a website that is indexed Google will quickly find the links and adjust your website within the index accordingly. You should understand that page rank is just your link popularity at a given point in time and does not represent your current ever changing page rank.

Page rank is not and never has been the deciding factor of where your website or blog will sit within the search engines. Links are important to SERPs placement, but they are by no means the only attributing factor. If you want to do well in the search engines then you will first need to focus on your website making sure keywords that you would like to rank well for are on your site and when you build links place the keyword between the anchor tags. This will ensure your rank within Google. I have seen websites with extremely low page rank beat websites that have high page rank with proper search engine optimization.

Once you rank well in the search engines and would like to start earning money check out the affiliate programs on make money online free.

Diversify Your Keywords During SEO

Search engine optimization is one of the most difficult parts of being a webmaster. There are some out there who have the income to purchase traffic, but for the rest of us we must rely on SEO for search engine ranking and social marketing. First the only time you need to optimize a website and build links is if you are planning to make money online free from your website. For those out there who are recreational webmasters that create web pages and site just for fun the work will probably not interest you nearly as much as those who are in desperate need for free internet marketing.

SEO actually starts before you begin creating a website or blog. You should know exactly what keywords you are planning to rank well for and the amount of links and marketing you will need for first page ranking. The best way to pick keywords is going to Google Adwords Keyword Tool which you can find by doing a quick search. Next enter the keywords you think people would type into Google to find your website. This tool will bring up the keywords you enter and 99 related keywords with the monthly search volume. When this list comes up you should go through and pick around ten keywords that have a decent amount of traffic (over a thousand monthly searches) and are related to your topic.

Now you have the list of keywords it is time to construct your website or blog. If you need some free space go to wordpress.com, typepad.com, or 000webhost.com. All of these resources will allow you to create a free web presence which you can optimize in the search engines and start making money. The keyword implementation is key. You will need to place keywords in your URL, title, description, headings, and content. This is one reason you should have multiple keywords so you can use all ten of them throughout your blog or website. Do not repeat the same keyword over and over if you are trying to rank well for the term “make money online” then use make money online, but rather than repeating it you can use spin offs such as “earn money online” or “make money free”.

After the construction of your website or blog the next part of seo will be link building. This is where diversifying your keywords is crucial. If you only build links towards one keyword Google and the other major search engines will quickly see this and drop you low in the SERPs or ban you. There are many resources out on the web that will allow you to create keyword anchored text links. One of the best includes directorycritic.com. Once you have submitted to the directories on this site you can move onto freetrafficsystem.com and article directories.

Your traffic will increase the more you work on link building and content creation. If you would like to monetize that traffic you should check out this get paid to read email website.

How To Start An Online Business

In these lean economic times, being an employee may not cut it if you are providing for a family and at the same time, are planning to save enough to grant you an early retirement cruising around the world. Problem is, if you quit to find a better paying job, it might take months, even years to find one. That is if you are lucky. One of the best things for you to do then is build your own business. And one of the easiest business to build from the ground up is an online business.

When starting an online business, make sure that you know what it is you are going to be selling. And what you will be selling, you must know enough about it to be considered an authority. You can’t go about selling hair products, while your background is plumbing. Who would buy from you? Also, you must figure out if what you’ll be selling is a service, or a product. A downloadable one or one you have to ship? All these are important so you must think of these carefully.

Now that you have your product, what do you do next? Having a business plan goes without saying, so let’s skip that. What you should do next is to build your own website. The best thing of course is to buy your own domain name, and have a professional build your site. Though if you are adept at building sites, you can do it yourself of course. But if you are on a budget, you can always start with using the many free blog sites out there as a launching pad. Then when you have the budget, you can purchase your own domain name.

So, with your blog and/or web site in place, the next logical step is to put in the content of your site. You can do this by either hiring a writer to do it, or if you are on a budget, doing it yourself. Be sure though to optimize each page of your site and each article in your content. If you don’t know how this works, consider learning SEO, or search engine optimization, your next step. But with or without SEO, when doing the content of your site, always make sure that the quality of what you write, or have written, is of the highest quality. This is to give the impression to your clients that you are a professional who knows what he or she is doing, and not just some hack with a computer.

You have a product, you have web site or blog to sell it. Now what? Well, you can continually upgrade your site, adding programs, and applications. Adding clickbank is a good idea to take care of purchases and orders. But the most important thing to do next, is to make sure your site gets the proper SEO treatment. This is to market your site and make it easily accessible to everyone. So as I mentioned before, learn SEO and find out all the ways it can help you and your business. If you don’t have the time, hire an SEO expert. But whatever you opt to do, make sure you have SEO done on your site.

Stompernet

Take a look at StomperNet. I just got an email from Brad Fallon over at StomperNet (you know they’re opening tomorrow, right?) I thought the email was so good I’m just posting it on my blog for you. Here it is:

————

I had a GREAT call with the Faculty last night, answering questions we had gotten from you and your colleagues. It occurred to me – based on a number of the questions you sent us about “what StomperNet is” – that should write to you and just net it all out for you. And that’s hard, because StomperNet is BIG. We know that, and sometimes even WE have a hard time getting our arms around it. So today, I’d like to take a moment to simplify.

First and foremost, StomperNet is a TRAINING organization - we will train you in every facet you need to be successful online. Our Library has over 1400 individual pieces of training -we’re pretty sure it’s the largest Internet Marketing library around. But it’s not just what we teach – it’s HOW we train that sets us apart.

Frankly, it’s pretty straightforward: some of our most successful customers are the ones that just did EXACTLY what we TRAINED them to: No fancy jiu-jitsu, just get the basics right, ESPECIALLY the customers that were just starting out. Our training cuts through all the clutter out there to ensure that the shortest distance between you and success is through StomperNet.

But we support all that training with things that frankly, no other organization on the planet can duplicate – all geared around making sure that ALL your questions get answered and QUICKLY: We strongly believe that STRATEGY is critical to online success: the proper business model, the most profitable niche, and ensuring that you understand which are your money keywords.

Our 21 FACULTY members build all the cutting edge training content, and answer your questions via Faculty Office Hours, patrolling the forums, or backed into a corner at a LIVE event. Our state-of-the-art PORTAL delivers the over 1400 individual training pieces, plus 200,000 forum posts that probably have 95% of your questions already answered (and are well-organized and easy to find).

And if after that you STILL have questions, we have the COMMUNITY: other Members and Moderators gladly helping you out in the portal. Sometimes you might need more strategic guidance – that’s where our Professional COACHING comes in – they can help you either in a group setting via our Masterminds, or one-on-one if you prefer.

Our EVENTS are designed to support you face to face – we have LIVE events several times a year for hands-on in-person training. And we’ve even announced the StomperNet World Tour – 18 cities next year – and StomperLocal to bring StomperNet to the rest of the world. And that’s what StomperNet WAS…for 3 years. And that was enough for many of our members to build great businesses for themselves and their families.

But it wasn’t enough for us. In order for us to stay out front as the leading online training company, we took a long look at how we could deliver MORE. And we came to the conclusion that the one thing our members were missing from us is TOOLS. So we went and got some. TEN of them…we call them StomperTools. We hand-picked the Software and tools we considered to be MUST HAVES for online success and to create competitive advantage for your business all INCLUDED in StomperNet Membership:

Market Samurai  – best-in-class Market and Keyword Research tool
Traffic Geyser – automated video submission tool to Social Media sites

These tools would cost you well over $500 per month if you got them separately, and that doesn’t count over $1,000 in setup charges and fees. So, there it is.   As you can see, StomperNet wants to give you all you need to succeed with your online business. No matter what level you’re at, between our tools, training, faculty, events, and community – this is the greatest Internet Marketing Success System there is.
