What are the best link building practices? Wiki websites are great examples of effective link building. One click takes you to another page which tells more about that particular topic. They all fit together perfectly. That is why Wiki pages are so popular. You can start off with one topic and build it up perfectly into another topic. People can get a lot of good use out of Wiki sites and the search engine spiders can’t get enough of them.
I learned from entrepreneur, David Jenyns that don’t shy away from getting back links to your website like some people do. You might have heard it said that if you get links from certain places that you’ll get banned from the search engines.
I don’t think that is the case because if that were so, if you didn’t like the guy over the abcdefg.com you could send lots of off colored links to his website and get him banned. You have no control over who puts a link to your website and what they are going to say about your site.
Buying a domain name that has been out there for a while is a good thing to do. But if you go out and buy a domain name, put up a website you’re not going to have 30,000 links going to it over night. That doesn’t happen in nature and that’s what you want to do, replicate what happens in nature.
You can still obtain good rankings from directory submissions, but they are not as good as they use to be. When I try and climb the search engines with one keyword, I don’t use directories. If I list my links in directories I do it because it is a different place. I like to concentrate on getting links from a lot of different resources.
The most effective link building comes from it happening over a period of time. If you are not careful, you could do all of you’re linking from a few websites and that website will be gone the very next day. That is just the way things happen. That is the benefit of getting different links from different places. It happens naturally. You can get a subscription to services that do this for you automatically.
Some things that help out a lot are articles and videos. Each link you put out that goes back to your website make sure it is a link that will entice the visitor to click on it to come to your site. Make sure your content is good.
When you put something up on your website, have a good reason for doing so. Don’t rank a page for the sake of getting it into the search engines. People don’t like garbage. They like to read something worth reading. This way they will come back to your website and even tell their friends about it. Now you know some of my link building strategies.

I don’t think there is an additional manner unless you want to spend countless hours submitting your site to directories by hand or if you have the funds you can pay others to do it for you and it can be very expensive.
Writing articles takes careful planning and research but once written they are potent because you can submit them all over and if they are picked up by a major website, it will have the potential to drive more website traffic plus, they belong to you and you can do whatever you like with them
You need to get going with website link building if you want to do well because some say link popularity is the single most important factor that affects our rankings in the search engines.
