MLM Tips – How To Identify Your Best Prospects

The first step you must take to cretae duplication in your network marketing business is finding the right people. I’ve suggested many times that not everyone will become a business builder. The majority of people will become customers and never go out and recruit people to build the business. I look for particular types of traits when I am prospecting. Here are a few to start off with. I want to work with people who will pay attention to my mentoring. If they don’t then there is really no point o having them on my team? The person should be capable. The people you work with require to comprehend that you have a proven system for success. They must bring a wide open mind, a deep passion for understanding, and leave their egos at the front door.

This is the first characteristic to look for. As a matter of fact, people with really strong egos are the premium kind. they do not challenge everything you try to teach them because they are not insecure. If a person doesn’t listen when you coach, or challenges every proven method, you try to teach them, that person will not develop into a business builder. Don’t blow time on such people.

does the individual have atleast 10 hours a week set aside to build a successful business?if you desire to have a business that brings you money on auto pilot year after year, then trusting people who work on a very partime basis is not a wise decision. There are exceptions, but there rare. I spend alot of my time masterminding with aggressive business builders, people who build the business full time and some who work part time but make the most out of the time they have.

Work with people who are willing to take instructions. you and the new recruit need to be on the same page when it comes to what actions will be taken to grow the business successfully. you need to be working with only people who are trying to build the business like you are, or else you are wasting time. Match their energy , enthusiasm and drive, but never exceed it. You cannot drag your people across the finish line. They must want to run to the finish line and succeed themselves. If their energy is sufficient to become customers, teach them how to be the good customers, and leave it at that. Devote your real energy to people who want to become business builders.

Tips To Grow Your Downline All On-Line

There are many distributors that are eager to sign up the first Home Based MlM they find without taking the time to examine whether that person has what it takes to succeed in this business. The truth is that most prospects are not serious about what they are getting into and when they realize that it takes time, work, and investment of money they decide to quit and leave your downline. Well the best thing that you can do in order to avoid such situations is to start qualifying your prospects.

What distinguishes the leaders from the simple members in MLM network marketing is that leaders qualify their prospects. They know that their time is precious and they don’t want to waste it on people who don’t have a chance to succeed in multilevel marketing and are not serious at what they are about to commit themselves. Three good criteria to qualify your prospects are their desire to succeed, their willingness to invest money in their home business, and the time that they have available to devote to this new endeavor.

When you build your Home Based Business some may say it’s about numbers but I truly believe it’s about the quality of people you have in your downline. This is why I want to take a little bit of time showing you three things I used to qualify my prospects. Hopefully once you’ve on this information you’ll be able to increase the amount of qualified people you enroll into your business. This would also allow you to increase the amount of revenue you make because these people will be in your business longer and more successful than those who aren’t qualified.

Let’s jump right into it!

Desire: you want to qualify your prospect on desire and how interested they are about getting into this business.

I accept nothing less than full fledged desire.

The reason why this is so important to me is because I know when things get tough its desire that will lead you through the trenches. Desire comes in the form of willingness to complete their goals and willingness to take action to complete their goals within the next 30 days. Why 30 days? Because within the first 30 days is when you can normally tell if a person will do what is required to do to be successful in this business. And normally after 30 days the excitement dies down and reality kicks in. This is when most people will jump ship and if their desire is high enough you’ll find that your downline outlasts the 30 day benchmark.

Money: hands down this is the toughest one to qualify prospects for but is also the most important one. You have to realize that this business does take money to operate just like a standard business. You will have expenses such as marketing and advertising as well as money for contact relationship management and other software for your business. It takes a working budget to be able to stay in success in Network marketing. When I qualify them on money I’m not looking for the rich for people that have huge amount of savings. I’m looking for people that are willing to work within a budget and apply that budget to help build their business.

This shows me that they’re willing to invest in themselves and invest in the industry.

Time: time is my last qualifier. Some people have the desire and the money to be successful but their schedule and current commitments will not allow them to do anything else within their day. I initially tell a prospect it will take at least 10 to 12 hours a week to build a business on a part time basis. Then I gauge them for response. Now it’s very important realize that if a prospect can’t commit to 10 to 12 hours to building a business chances are they will not be successful regardless of how much money or desired they have. The biggest mistake you can do is sign someone up with desire and money but without the time.

Within 30 days they’ll look to blame you for their failure because you didn’t give them an accurate expectation of how much time would take to build this Home Based MLM.

By far these are the only three tools I use to qualify my prospects. Of course there other ways to qualify your prospect but I’ve found that the three listed above are the most important. Use these as a way to gauge your prospects desire, money and time commitments to this business that way you ensure you only enroll qualified prospects into your downline.

Many times, even though your friends and acquaintances may not be interested in your MLM home based business themselves, they may refer you and provide you the names of people whom they know may be interested in your MLM home based business opportunity. Again only do this if you want no friends left who will talk to you. There is a much better way and yes I’m having a little fun with this as calling all your friends and family is what every upline totes but what if you could get leads without ever talking to your friends and family, well at lest the one’s who really don’t want to hear about your most up-to-date and greatest thing-a-ma-jig.

If they do not refer anybody unhappily, simply ask them politely for any referrals whom they can think of. You will never know who are may be interested in your MLM home based business you have and you will not know unless you ask. Although bugging your friends and family is not a good idea as I have said but go ahead if you really what to be a solitary person. the home based mlm is not for everyone and you should not think that the whole world what’s to hear about your business. With the proper lead capture pages in place you can do a high-quality job getting folks that what to hear about what you have to offer these folks are looking for what you are offering.

Building An MLM Business Online… Ethically!

Here is my experience with MLM/Network Marketing!

I have been an entrepreneur my whole life, but I really realized it a few years ago. I have run many businesses in my life, some successful, some not. I have enjoyed running each and every one for different reasons and I have learned from them all. However, my real passion is music. I have been lucky enough to have performed hundreds of times in the Ottawa area and I am currently hosting a weekly Open Stage and I am still performing regular gigs. I am grateful that I can work a flexible schedule in order to be able to follow my bliss.

I work primarily online and I promote affiliate programs, as well as Network Marketing products and businesses. I have only recently been able to figure out how to successfully run a Network Marketing, or MLM, business (almost) completely online. It is certainly a precise art, but I have actually gotten more than one Attraction Marketing systems recruiting distributors without prior contact with the prospect. I do occasionally take phone calls if prospects have questions, but most of the communication happens once the distributor has enrolled in my business. I recently recruited an overseas distributor with extensive prior experience in MLM. He had already recruited 2 new distributors before I had a chance to speak with him on the phone. Once the new person is recruited and they indicate that they are seriously interested in working a Network Marketing business, I teach them my Attraction Marketing strategies. If they are interested in pursuing “traditional” network marketing practices (ie: Face to Face), I have knowledge of that as well, from my 5 years of experience in the industry. Although it is of course very important to connect these new distributors to a strong leader within my upline organization. There are many different ways to find people to talk to, and there are some very strong leaders that can help you implement whatever Lead Generation strategy suits you best. As I continue tailoring my Attraction Marketing system, and I continue to focus on recruiting and selling products online.

And there you have it.

This is not easy by any stretch of the imagination. I took some time off from the MultiLevel Marketing industry because I was having a hard time dealing with the unethical people that are attracted (and often thrive) in Network Marketing. I had a hard time telling people there was a “system” when really it was just a deviously clever guy making up “training sessions” that he said would work for everyone that CLEARLY DO NOT. It cannot work for everyone… Otherwise everyone would do already do it and the whole thing would collapse. It takes certain skills and a lot of work to do it and those who possess the right qualities can become wealthy if they decide to do the work.

That brings me to the UP FRONT disclaimer!

You need at least the following skills in order to succeed at Internet Marketing a MLM company:

1. Better than average general computer skills.
2. Be creative and be able to write many short, medium and long articles. (you can pay for some of this)

3. Better than average writer… Or you will have to learn how to express yourself more effectively on paper and video.

4. Have enough phone skills and product/business knowledge to answer questions about your product or business. I personally DO NOT try to persuade… I answer questions openly and honestly. If they want it, I help them get it. If they do not want it, I hang up the phone. ***

5. Of course, you have to want to do it. I will not chase you. I will inspire you and I will provide you with the knowledge and tools to succeed. It is up to you to actually apply it.

*** I did not mention the use 3-way calling with your upline business partner because you will eventually fail if you cannot properly handle an initial call from the prospect and see it through to the enrollment. Your upline will do this in the beginning, but they will not continue to close sales for you for long… Nor should they. It is your responsibility to get trained.

To see solid success at Internet Marketing an MLM program, you will need to be a creative person and a good communicator. You will need to continually provide quality articles surrounding your product, business and marketplace. This will be a lot of writing up front. There is VERY little cost involved and the more work you want to do yourself, the cheaper it will be. All you need to spend is your monthly autoship of the MLM. All the marketing can be done for free, but I seriously doubt you want to do that… That is way too much work. I would say be prepared to spend at least an extra $50 per month.

A moment ago we said that a niche is composed of a group of thousands of other people that share common interests and problems. Thousands of people still remain faceless in our minds. But an ideal prospect is a person.

Your ideal prospect is the one person that represents everyone else in your niche. Get a very thorough picture in your mind what this ideal prospect is like. Get to know her as well as you can. Know how she feels about things. Know how she will respond to your content. Understand what her problems are. And then…

Answer Your Ideal Prospect’s Questions

She has certain problems she wants to solve. Otherwise she would not be spending time on the internet. If you pummel her with your opportunity and products she will be gone. She is not looking for these. She is looking for solutions. Help her find these solutions. Be to her the expert consultant that is there providing what she needs.

You already know what she needs. You identified that when you described who your idea prospect is. Now put yourself in her place. Feel what she feels. Sense what she is trying to find. And then provide it for her. Learning to do this well will skyrocket your success in generating network marketing leads.

Here’s My Story, which may be similar to Yours..

I have joined just about every MLM Company Out there
but I quit before making any money…

I never recruited a single person into my MLM
business…

12 years I have tried to make a living with MLM
but it has just not worked for me…

Today, I am back learning from successful people, and I finally found a proven system to grow my business. In just a few short months, I have done what I have not been able to do in over 12 years of struggle.

I got my first real lead, built a team, started sponsoring people into my primary business, and I finally started to make some positive money. In a few short months, I went from downright broke and lonely to becoming the MLM Champion. I am by no means making a six-figure income (YET), but I am doing better than I could have ever imagined. I am excited about my business, and I am honored to be working with some of the best marketing strategist in this industry.

Here are some things I leaned during this ordeal…

Pick a business and stick with it. Don’t go bouncing from opportunity to opportunity.

Align yourself with people that have achieved what you currently desire. Seek their advice often. Most leaders and mentors will be more than happy to give you advice on how to build your business. Don’t shy away from approaching them. In fact, most of them will admit they did the exact same thing when they started out in this industry.

Create a marketing plan . This is super-uber important. You have to know how much money you have available for your marketing. That way you can tailor your strategies to fit your budget. If you are limited in spending, try some free marketing approaches. Then reinvest at least 50-75% of of your earnings back into your marketing plan.

Do not leave the nest before it’s time. We all want to be leaders and not followers. However, you have to be able to follow before you are able to lead. Do not rush it! Take the time to really develop yourself under careful supervision. Once you have mastered certain skills, then it is your time to fly!

NEVER EVER, EVER, EVER, EVER… QUIT!
Giving up will only set you back. Do I need to retell my story? Take a moment to assess your actions. A few minor tweaks might be all you need to get back on track.

You WILL fail in this business over and over and over again, there is absolutely no doubt about that and no way around it.

It takes that one final game winning shot to make it over the hump…and over that hump is everything you’ve ever wanted in life.
